Local professional, nomadic heart, international background
Hiring an SEO consultant from the other side of the world is easy. Meeting them for a coffee in Las Canteras isn’t.
And sometimes you just want to hire someone you know you can trust. And the first step to trusting a valuable coworker and business partner is, well, to meet them.
- We can meet in person. A real conversation over coffee often beats three video calls.
- Same time zone. Canary time is mine too, so no waiting for the other side of the world to wake up.
- I’ve been where you are. I moved to Sydney in 2009, came to the Canary Islands in 2013, and have worked from many countries in between. Starting over somewhere new, and building a business there, is something I know first-hand.
- Your language, your markets. English, Italian or Spanish; your customers on the island, back home, or anywhere else.
What I can do for you, on the island and beyond
Local SEO, if you have a door here.
Let’s help people nearby find your business. I’ll set up your Google Business Profile properly, keep your details consistent across the web, make reviews easy to collect, and get your site showing up in local and “near me” searches.
International SEO, if your customers are everywhere.
One site, several markets: the right structure, the right message for each country, and keyword research that looks at each culture first, not just translated words. For languages beyond mine, I work with native writers.
Words that sound native.
Pages, articles, titles and descriptions, written in English or Italian for the people who’ll read them, not translated for them. Writing for the web is where I started, and it’s still where SEO begins.
Reaching the Italian market.
Selling to Italians, on the island or in Italy? I’ll research the words they search for, write content that speaks to them, and get you mentioned on Italian sites they trust. That’s my native ground. More on Italian SEO →
Websites and AI automations.
From a WordPress site that loads fast and works well, to AI tools that save you hours: a chatbot that answers your customers, a pipeline that sorts your data, an automation that runs on its own. See my projects →
Ads that speak Italian.
Running ads in Italy, on Google or anywhere else? I adapt your keywords, ads and landing pages to how Italians search and buy, so your budget pays for the right clicks. More on ads transcreation →
How I work
No packages, no tricks, no promises I can’t keep. Value comes first, results get measured before budget gets spent, and we build for the long term, not the next quick win. More on how I work →
SEO in Las Palmas, in the age of AI
AI may change how people work in many industries, but it has certainly changed how people search. And so (though not only for that reason) it has changed how I work. Google answers with AI summaries, and people ask ChatGPT or Gemini directly. Being found today means being the source those answers trust, and that’s still SEO:
- useful content,
- a site that works,
- and a name others mention.
I use AI every day, as a partner. It can do things we humans can’t, like keeping track of every step of a project, down to the smallest detail implemented months ago. And it does other things far faster than we can, like researching everything about a competitor’s online presence.
But it misses something human, all the time. Have you ever heard someone say “you can tell an AI made this”? How do they know1? Not an easy question to answer these days.
What should stay human is agency: the choices. Which word fits this context? Is this passage flat, or plain boring? Those calls are ours to make.
So what’s the right way to work in the age of AI? Work with AI, not let AI work for you. In SEO, in copywriting, and probably in many other fields.
Did I mention I also study AI and build with it? LLM pipelines and automations that run in production, for clients and for myself.
Curious about what I’ve built? Have a look at my projects.
