I’m back to Italy! After 3 interesting months in Thailand (mostly Chiang Mai and Koh Phanghan) I decided to go back to my country for a visit to my family and my old friends (it’s been an entire year since I left Italy last time).

My business is still based in Australia and – according to my accountant – it can stay there till the end of the Australian financial year. After that I have to figure something out if I don’t want to go back to Australia.

And since I’m enjoying my freelance and digital nomad lifestyle, I don’t want to go back to Australia: Sydney is one of the most expensive cities in the world, I can work from wherever I have an Internet connection, thus, it is not convenient any more for me to stay in Sydney.

Also If I go back to Australia, I will have to struggle again with a work permit (which I’m not allowed to have, I was there with a Student Visa).

So… I’m considering to set my business here in Italy, but I’m also considering some other place in Europe (where I don’t have any visa issue). The best options seem to be Malta and Canary Islands.
